Hot Isostatic Pressing for Fully Dense Components

Hot Isostatic Pressing, or HIP, is an advanced manufacturing process that uses inert gas to apply uniform high pressure to components inside a sealed vessel at elevated temperatures. Under conditions of up to 2000°C and 200 MPa, HIP helps bond powder particles, consolidate preforms, and close internal defects in finished parts. This process is widely used to produce fully dense components with near 100% theoretical density.
