Project Background
To support China’s “dual carbon” goals and promote the transportation structure transformation of key industrial enterprises, Tianjin has made hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty trucks an important development direction.
Rongcheng Zhonghe actively developed its own hydrogen energy project. On October 30, 2022, a 500kg/12h skid-mounted hydrogen refueling station supplied by Hydrosys was put into operation, providing hydrogen refueling services for 38 units of 49T heavy-duty trucks in Rongcheng Iron and Steel’s transport fleet. The equipment operated continuously 24 hours a day, with an average daily hydrogen refueling volume of 800kg.
Based on the excellent performance of the 500kg skid-mounted station, Rongcheng Zhonghe signed another contract with Hydrosys for one 2000kg/12h fixed hydrogen refueling station after only two months of operation. The project completed final acceptance on September 15, 2023 and was officially put into operation.
